Explore your family history and heritage for free at the Irish Center using Ancestry.com and the Origins Network (a database of Irish, English, Scottish and Welsh records) online databases. Also books, magazines, forms, charts for exploring ships records, census records, Ellis Island and other immigration resources are available. Start creating your family tree! Available to the public during normal open hours.

Permanent exhibit ‘The Irish and Kansas City’

Artifacts, photos and text tell the story of the Irish journey from ancient Ireland to Kansas City’s Irish community today. Learn about the roles many of our ancestors played in shaping our city.
