Calling all amateur boxing enthusiasts!

After the sellout success of their first events, the KC Irish Center and KC Golden Gloves are excited to bring you another thrilling evening of amateur boxing in Drexel Hall!

Did you know boxing is the most successful Olympic sport in Ireland, accounting for over 50% of all medals won? It also enjoys tremendous popularity, as it is seen as a competition, not a fight, as well as a welcoming and inclusive sport. It is in that same spirit we are excited to partner with Kansas City Golden Gloves for an evening of amateur boxing at the Kansas City Irish Center on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

The evening will showcase some of the area's best amateur boxers, including peewee boxers, female boxers, and men's novice divisions. Tickets are available for both floor and balcony seating. A very limited number of ringside tables will also be available. Bars will be open on both levels of the ballroom for drink purchases.
